SOUTH Africa will be well represented at the US$30-million Dubai World Cup meeting in Dubai on Saturday.

From his first attempt at the Dubai World Cup Carnival, Paul Lafferty has succeeded in securing an entry when Harry’s So was invited to the $6 million Gr1 Dubai Turf over 1800m.

Lafferty will join fellow South African Mike de Kock, who saddles 7 runners on the card, including big race entry Mubtaahij in the $10 million Gr1 Dubai World Cup.

All is reportedly well with the South African runners, who completed their final preparation gallops on Wednesday morning.

The draw for the 2016 Dubai World Cup takes place on Wednesday afternoon.
