Barbara Sanne of Oldlands Stud has three fillies consigned to the CTS April Sale’s Select Session, one that comes up early.

Lot 20 is Orchid Express, by Oratorio from Paradise Tree, a half-sister to stallion The Apache from an exceptional female line. “She’s well-balanced and nicely muscled,” said Sanne.

Lot 93 is Forever Indigo, a daughter of Judpot and Electric Indigo, from the English Garden family. “She’s nicely made, stands over a lot of ground. There’s a lot of horse here,” Sanne said.

“I really love Lot 106,” Sanne enthuses. “She’s a beautiful filly by Querari, a half-sister to five-time winner Gingerbread Man.”

Sanne also noted a few Oldlands entries from Session 2:

Lot 147 is Nussply, a colt by Indigo Magic from Nutella, by Rich Man’s Gold.  “The Rich Man’s Gold has come out in this colt, he’s very nice!”

Lot 174 is Trip To Freedom, sired by Ashaawes from the Medicean mare, Road Tax. “She’s a beautiful filly closely related to Surcharge, second in last week’s Gr1 SA Classic.” Lot 236 is Celeste, a “very nice, well-made filly By Master Of My Fate, who is liked by most buyers for what he is producing so far.”
