Lot 106, Captain Of All colt

Stonehill Stud’s Heinrich Rix puts plenty of effort into his pedigree matings and he is offering three interesting lots at Sunday’s Ready To Run Sale.

Lot 75: “This is a Vercingetorix filly out of Delmonica (Western Winter), who comes from the formidable Donatella line. She is a half-sister to Willow Express, one of the better Willow Magic runners in training and the six-time winner Vienna Wood. She has had five winners from six runners. This filly is racy and she looks a candidate for an early start. She is also a late foal and I am glad we have given her time.”

Lot 106: “This is a Captain Of All colt out of September Bloom, who is a half-sister to Banking April. September Bloom had four wins and fifteen places, a really strong, hardy filly from the White Mischief family and that speaks for itself. This colt is a November foal, who could easily have been on the Premier Sale. He has matured into a beautiful colt. He is correct, with everything in the right place and he walks well.

Lot 111: “Here we have a colt by Count Du Bois who walks and moves very well. He is inbred to Zafonic and Gone West. I think he will also show early, I am glad to have him on the sale, I think he is the type of horse who’d be ideal for the sales race. He might not be out of a commercial damline, but as a specimen he is a standout, he has everything in the right place.
