Lot 98, by Vercingetorix, described as "a horse for the classics!"

Soetendal Estate near Wellington has made giant strides in especially backing, pre-training and Ready To Run preparation in recent years and is now a leader in its field. Without exception, the Soetendal-perepared two-year-olds are always impeccably turned out and pictures of health.

Soetendal is the biggest vendor at this year’s CTS Ready to Run Sale with 41 lots in total, most to be sold on behalf of Klawervlei, Riethuiskraal and Stone Hill Stud.

The estate’s Julia Pilbeam is excited and said: “It is worth noting that 13 out of the top 20 on the final log for the CTS Ready-to-Run Stakes, now to be run on 14 December, came off our draft from last year.

“We have a similarly exciting draft this year, and several of the horses qualify for the BSA and Klawervlei Farm Sale incentives. The info will be on the stable doors.”
