Advocate Altus Joubert’s consistently successful Riethuiskraal returns to the Cape Premier Yearling Sale for the first time since 2017 with six yearlings, their biggest consignment ever.

Lot 7 OPEN SECRET: This DUKE OF MARMALADE filly is out of a stakes-winning JET MASTER mare whose strong pedigree runs deep – 7 stakes winners in the 2nd and 3rd dam. She’s a strong, well-built filly with a lot of substance and a deep girth.

Lot 11 PLATINUM RUN: This ERUPT filly out of a Fort Wood mare is closely related to Master Keys, Gr1 winner GLOBAL NEWS and Champion ABLE FRIEND. She is handsome, strong and has good balance

Lot 37 COWBOY JACK: This CANFORD CLIFFS colt is out of Club Captain, a Captain Al sprinting mare who won 5 times over 1000m.  He is a beautiful, balanced colt and a racy looking individual. He has good length of reign, strong shoulder and quarter.

Lot 83 IRON MONGER: This TIME THIEF colt is out of a stakes winner of 6 races, by the Champion Broodmare Sire DANEHILL DANCER. The mare is closely related to LILY OF THE VALLEY (Champion 3-year-old filly of Europe) and MUBTAAHIJ (Champion 3-year-old miler in UAE). He’s a leggy colt who stands over ground, with good length of reign and shoulder.

Lot 96 LEAD DRUMMER: This FUTURA colt is out of JOSHUA’S MISTRESS, a stakes winner of 4 races who also ran 3rd in the Cape Fillies Guinness Gr1. He is a well-balanced, leggy individual. A classy colt for the classics.

Lot 180 EURYDICE: This filly by RAFEEF is out of a female line steeped in stakes winners and sheer class. The mare is by the World Champion Daylami and is the half-sister to the Gr2 winner and Gr1, 2nd placed CARRY ON KATIE, who produced the Champion Sprinter and older Female in South Africa, CARRY ON ALICE. She won 5x Gr1 sprints, including the Gr1 Mercury and Gr1 Computaform Spring against the colts. She also ran 2nd in another 4 Gr1 events and was exported. The filly is strong and well-grown, covers a lot of ground and has good length of reign.
