Connemara Stud, growing in stature, has a six-strong consignment at the April Yearling Sale, representing their customary good mix of pedigrees.

Connemara’s Select Session colt is Optimum (Lot 114), by Oratorio from I’ll Be Back (ARG). Lindi Garlicki of Connemara describes this one as, “not that tall but very strong, a bull of a horse.”

Lot 156 is a beautiful Judpot colt from the young National Emblem mare Parfait. He comes from the family of Printemp and Pecan Nut.

Lot 166 is a filly by Elusive Fort from Rainbow Belle and Lindi noted: “This is a good mating and we are looking forward to how she will perform. She’s a good-sized, athletic first foal related to Kingmambo’s Legacy and Logontonews.”

Another first foal is Lot 200, a colt by Vercingetorix from Spring Blaster by Jet Master. “His dam was speedy and he’s a nice colt with Jet Master coming through in his looks.”

Another Captain Of All with a good report is Lot 203, a “big and strapping colt with nice legs.”

Lot 212 is Duchess Of Cornwall, a filly by Duke of Marmalade out of a winning Tiger Ridge mare, and from the family of Gr1 performer The Eden Project and G1 winner Proud Pilgrim. “She’s very strong with lots of Tiger Ridge in her,” said Lindi.
