Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud enjoyed excellent results at the 2021 De Grendel Cape Premier Yearling Sale, and will be looking for similar success at this year’s sale on 6 February.

David Hepburn-Brown reported on his four lots:

Lot 139: Colt by Master of My Fate – Seventh Storm: “Very nice colt, and this is the first time his pedigree goes back to the Jet Master line, representing River Jetez and Pocket Power, so it will be interesting to see how the nick works out.”

Lot 141: Colt by Horizon – Sherulestheskies

“The first yearling by Horizon I will be selling. This is a smart, well-sized colt with lots of substance. He has quality about him, and I have selected him to come onto this early sale so that buyers can have a good introduction to Horizon. We are very happy with this one.”

Lot 149: Colt by Twice Over (GB) – Snow and Ice: “This is a big, athletic colt from a mare whose first foal won on debut. He has scope, and his excellent sire has been back in the news with his feature winners.”

Lot 149, Twice Over colt.

Lot 175: Filly by Horizon – Weston

“I chose one colt and one filly by Horizon for the sale, and this filly from a Philanthropist mare has a lot of quality. She is medium-sized and walks beautifully; will catch the eye at the sale.
