FIVE-time G1 winner Got The Greenlight, a star of his generation, will be sold for stud, to dissolve a partnership, at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday 26 February. The sale, on Cape Derby Day, is open to all bidders and will be conducted under the auspices of Cape Thoroughbred Sales (CTS) in the parade ring after the last race of the afternoon.
Got The Greenlight, a five-year-old bay horse, will be the first son of super sire Gimmethegreenlight to go to the stud barn in South Africa and lively interest is expected in his best-performed son. His dam is the Australian-bred Command Chi, by Commands. The South African-bred Surcharge (Yulong Prince) is at stud in Australia.

He also finished second and third respectively in successive Durban Julys. Got The Greenlight won a Group 1 race as a 2yo, 3yo and 4yo – a truly exceptional racehorse.
