Veteran breeder Philip Kahan of Evergreen Farms has entered eight lots for Sunday’s Ready To Run Sale at Kenilworth and he is delighted with the quality he is offering to buyers.

Evergreen’s Lot 70 is an unnamed Captain Of All filly that comes from a stallion-producing female line. “She has an amazing pedigree being out of a Dynasty mare. She is a top class walker, one for the short list,” Kahan said.

Lot 89 is another Captain Of All filly, this one from Hollywood Strip, by Danehill’s son Tiger Hill. “She is a neat filly and close-coupled, a speedball that should come quickly.”

Lot 90 is colt by Time Thief out of the mare Hot Toddy by Dynasty. “This is an exceptional colt and will be a real value buy, he’s a must see.”

Lot 91 is a colt by Coup De Grace: “He is a nice solid colt out of It’s Complicated who is by VAR, from the family of Jay Peg and Whiteline Fever. His full brother has already won!

Lot 97 is a “big and strong filly” and added: “She is over 16 hands, she is bred to stay”

Lot 107 is a daughter of William Longsword born from a Listed placed filly by Seventh Rock. “She is a quality filly who looks athletic. She will strengthen up as she matures and has plenty of scope.”

Lot 122 is a Vercingetorix filly from Bhanoyi (Jet Master). She is a third foal, the first two are both winners including multiple winner Hammie’s Fan! “She is a good size, exceptionally strong and well muscled. She walks well, has the right attributes and with this stallion one cannot go wrong.”

Lastly Lot 123, another filly by Vercingetorix from a mare by ace broodmare sire, Jet Master. “She is a beautiful walker too, comes from a good extended female line, she is going to be a nice filly!”
