A son of Western Winter, What A Winter is currently not only the Leading First Crop Sire but is also the third leading sire of 2yos by stakes.
The former champion sprinter, and triple Equus Award winner, was represented by a most impressive winner recently when the Candice Bass-Robinson trained Dutch Philip made a winning debut over 1000m at Kenilworth recently.
What A Winter, whose first six runners have all finished in the money, looks on course for a tremendous season. The former sprint champion has no fewer than four 2yos nominated for the Listed Summer Juvenile Stakes on Sun Met day, with his quartet of hopefuls including the above mentioned Dutch Philip.
